SphereQueue (RabbitMQ)

You can now add a RabbitMQ message broker of your own to any environment, next to your services, at a fixed monthly price.

SphereQueue: RabbitMQ

A RabbitMQ 4.3 broker of your own, for background jobs, work queues and events between services. Any AMQP client works, Celery included.

  • Sizes: from Queue 1 (1 vCPU, 2 GB, 20 GB disk) at $49/month to Queue 16. High availability (three copies in three zones, with quorum queues by default) is available on every size, at three times the price.
  • Connections: over TLS (amqps://, port 5671), on a private address that only services in the same environment can reach.
  • Full queues: each queue holds up to a quarter of the disk. When a queue is full, new messages to it are refused, so the broker's disk never fills.
  • Backups: each broker's setup (queues, exchanges, bindings, policies) is backed up daily, and the last 7 copies are kept. Messages aren't backed up. To restore, contact support.
